Job Description

The Company:

  • This company sells industrial tools into the Automotive and general manufacturing sectors.
  • Established in early 1900s.
  • Part of a wider pneumatic company supplying products globally.
The Role of the Area Sales Manager:
  • Torque electric and pneumatic tool sales with particular focus in Automotive & General Industry and indirect partners (integrators, machine tool builders and distributors).
  • Tasked with growing the number of active users of their service solutions.
  • Unit sales from £20,000 to £1m tenders.
  • Consult with customers to understand their long-term objects, demonstrate their products to the market and show the true value to their customers, enabling them to be the best in their sector.
  • 70% of the time you will be selling Pneumatic & Electric power tools into major accounts already established, however there is an expectation to grow spend by £30% with new business.

  • Salary of £35k + £12k Bonus OTECar Allowance of £7000 or company car from the fleet

The Ideal Person for the Area Sales Manager:
  • System knowledge of SAP & Salesforce
  • Needs to demonstrate straight technical understanding.
  • Have previous industrial sales experience selling into manufacturing.
  • Young teamyoull need to be a self-starter.
