Job Description

Accounts Payable Team Leader/Leicester/Full-Time/Permanent/Hybrid Working / Up to £32,000Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with this industry leading business on their search for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join there well established and fast paced Accounts Payable Team.Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will have responsibility for a team of Accounts Payable Clerks and your main aim will be to ensure an efficient Accounts Payable process whilst focusing on continuous improvement, challenge where appropriateand be able to deliver training and development to your team where necessary.The customer is key in all things that this business stand for and therefore always ensuring you have a grasp on how you and your team work will ultimately have an effect on the relationships externally and internally.You will have demonstrated previously and be accountable for the following in this role:

  • Delivery and creation of innovative processes and procedures
  • Data Management
  • Supplier Account Reconciliation
  • Invoice Process Management
  • Debit balance reductions and recoveries
  • GRNI Reconciliation
  • Vendor Terms Management
  • Month end control account reconciliation process
In this role you will:
  • Be able to challenge, review, recommend and implement best practice to ensure and encourage a continuous improvement environment
  • Providing accurate and detailed reports to the AP Manager
  • Develop and control process workflows
  • Provide accurate and clear audit trails
  • Supervise and manage employees
Ideally you will have:
  • A hands on approach
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • A working knowledge of SAP
  • Worked within a Retail or Stock based background
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Previous supervisor experience
