Accounts ManagerCirca £27,000 ~ Salary is negotiableBased in ThurmastonStarting ASAPThis position is a key role in finance but also the surrounding business. As Accounts Manager, you will report to the Finance Director. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheetreconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.’Working HoursMonday to Thursday 9.00 to 5.00 (Half an Hour for lunch)Friday 9.00 to 4.30 (Half an Hour for lunch)Full Or Part Qualified or Qualified by experienceKey responsibilities• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.• Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly accounts ready for presentation to theFinance Director• Dealing with cash flow management and production of cash flow forecasts.• Leading a team of 3 and in addition responsible for payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.Key skills• Strong technical accounting knowledge• Excel and modelling • Creating management accounts• Ability to delegate and manage the work of others.• Experience of AP and AR• Fully or Part qualified accountant • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central advantageousPlease call Nigel today if you match our criteria and look forward to hearing from you!
