Job Description

Job title:Account ManagerLocation:Leicester (LE19)Hours:09.00-17.30. 4 days a week in the office, and 1 day on the road at client visits.Rate: Basic up to£25,000 p/a + Commission + Company Car + Phone + Fuel card(Business and personal). We require a range of Account Managers at an entry level positionoffering excellent training and long-term progression/growth opportunities. You will be building and developing your own client base, from a company leads database, and your own lead generation, you will then be managing growing and tailoring your service to the clients in order to achieve maximum profitability. 2 months of trainingwill be provided.As the Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Winning new business
  • Consistently grow the gross profit by, maximising all revenue opportunities from existing customers and pro-actively pursuing undeveloped areas.
  • Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.
  • Process orders and enter sales information on to the CRM system, maintaining accurate information and records.
  • Monitor orders ensuring that the highest levels of service are conducted at every stage.
  • Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager.
As the Account manager you should have the following skills and competencies:
  • Demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence others both internally and externally.
  • Experience of working in a sales environment is highly desirable.
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have experience of stakeholder management and networking to achieve results.
  • Experience of working to targets and deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a proactive outbound cold calling sales role either on the phone or face-to-face preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence is required for this position.
