Trust ManagerLeeds - HybridHybrid£50,000 - £60,000A well-respected national law firm ranked in the top 100 are looking for a Trust Manager to join their National Legal Team in Leeds who are regarded as some of the best in their field. They are looking for a Trust Manager to join their Leeds team due to thesubstantial growth within the business. As a successful candidate, you will assist the management of trusts across their Private Client National Service Line. They offer a competitive hybrid working model, a competitive holiday package and a number of otherbenefits.Your responsibilities will include:Tax planning advice regarding all aspects of trustsInheritance tax calculationsManagement and administration of complex trusts to include maintenance and preparations of all related accounting records and HMRC returnsFATCA/CRS/Trust Register reportingThe ideal candidate:You will be an experienced Trust Accountant or Manager with previous experience within a Law Firm or Accountancy FirmHave experience supervising more junior membersYou must have detailed knowledge of HMRCs Trust Registration Service (TRS) registration requirements and keep your knowledge up to date by following HMRC guidanceExcellent record management skills are essential to ensure that our internal trust records are up to date, and you must have the ability to advise trustees on their responsibilities under TRS reporting and wider tax reporting, including income tax, capitalgains tax, inheritance tax, and stamp dutySTEP, CIOT or AAT qualifiedSolid previous experience of preparing sets of trusts accountsYou will be skilled at Excel, have impeccable file management, and be able to effectively and efficiently manage all mattersKnowledge of CCH software desirableIf you have the relevant experience and would like to be considered for this Trust Manager role in Leeds, please apply within or send your CV to for immediate consideration.
