Manufacturing Futures seek to appoint a Senior Electronic Design Engineer for our client, a market leading electronics company with a growing blue chip client bank, to lead their expanding engineering team on a mixture of NPD and legacy products. This establishedcompany has had a very successful sales year and brought in a number of new projects and seeks a Senior Electronic Design Engineer on a permanent basis to aid in the specification, design and completion of assigned electronics projects. Youll mix your timebetween hands on design work on new products and some support activity on existing designs in the field. Its a great time to join a business with great prospects for growth. As Senior Electronic Design Engineer you will be primarily hardware focused withan appreciation of embedded software. You must have worked for an SME supplying in to large corporate customers.Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Electronic Engineering Manager / Power Electronics / Hardware / PCB- Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification- Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines- Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, circuit design and test engineering- Exposure to firmware/embedded software- Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staffSenior Electronic Design Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Electronic Engineering Manager / Power Electronics / Hardware / PCB- Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computing or equivalent- Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software- Excellent analogue and digital circuit design- Knowledge of embedded processors- Power electronics experience- Experience in a senior or team leader role with mentoring responsibilities for junior staffSenior Electronic Design Engineer, Power Electronics, PCB, Engineering Manager, HardwareIf this role could appeal please do apply now!
