We are looking to recruit a Community Nurse with an interest in chemotherapy nursing, who can be trained in this area. The role will be based in and around Leeds, and we are looking for a Registered Nurse with IV and cannulation skills / experience, to startin the community, and then after 6 months start the chemotherapy nursing qualification which is a 1 year course - University accredited - SACT Passport. You will be working for a nationally recognised, specialist provider of Cancer Care. This is a communitybased role covering Leeds / West Yorkshire.The role will initially be to provide homecare to patients requiring IVs - and then once you have completed your chemotherapy qualification your role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pumpdisconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.Although you will be working independently in the community, you will remain very much part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues.
