We strongly value, encourage and support diversity, equity, and inclusion.We are currently looking for a Technical Author to be part of our exciting new Digital Delivery Hub that is based in Leeds. This is an opportunity to be involved at the beginning of an exciting new initiative within the Digital Delivery Hub and shape the testingstrategy for digital delivery. You will be deployed into one of our ongoing projects to provide dedicated technical author support across a number of delivery squads.Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and update documentation for the Gateway Forms project, including but not limited to API documentation and system integration documents.
  • Work closely with all the teams supporting the Gateway Forms project including software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product details and manage the creation of documents.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and accurate language for various audiences.
  • Participate in our agile ceremonies and collaborate with the teams to ensure timely and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date with software updates and releases
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Author or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Knowledge of Git, Jira, sharepoint technologies with ability to explain to service colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Fargate).
  • Excellent problem solving and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communicator, able to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and ability to influence
  • Strong understanding of Technology, Enterprise Architecture and Security best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
