Surfacing - Site Supervisor/ Manager - Leeds Long Term ContractHourly rate - Depending on experienceWe are looking for an experienced Surfacing Supervisor to join our client’s team in Leeds. You’ll enjoy a leadership role overseeing a Highways surfacing project covering a range of sites in Central Leeds.As the successful Surfacing Supervisor you will have experience in delivering high profile highways schemes. You will be responsible for Managing sub-contractors and gangs of surfacing operatives on major roads in Leeds central area and high speed highways (Motorway). Working will be a mixture of night and days.To succeed in this role you will have the following experience:Practical understanding and ability to represent the Company on contractual issues if requiredCreate and manage programmes to ensure timely and profitable completion of contractsHealth, safety and environmental compliance requirements, ensuring processes and procedures are in placeEnsuring correct permits and licences are in placeSupervising and overseeing the project, ensuring that the specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with managementChecking and preparing site reports, designs and drawingsControl and monitor forecast costsLiaising with the client, management and engineersSite logisticsAssessment and engagement of subcontractorsProviding advice on methods, tools, equipment and materials to management and project managersDesirable Qualifications:CSCS Black CardSMSTSSupervisor NRSWAHNC/HND in civil engineering or similarImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
