Job Title - Supply Chain ManagerLocation: LeedsWhat do you get to do in this positionResponsible for Supply Chain management of all flow-related aspects (incoming, outgoing and internal) in a plant.Responsible of planning, goods inwards, Warehouse, Dispatch teams (60-80 employees)Member of the entitys management committee of a plant of £150 M business and totally 450 employees.What are your key responsibilities in the roleEnsure Safety of Logistics team, packaging operations and dangerous goods flowsEnsure implementation of Industrial policy and develop the necessary skillsManage team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plantBe responsible for people management including: safety (including external), goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well-being.Is the owner of the Schneider Production System Supply Chain deploymentPrepare and lead monthly SIOP meetingManage the resources versus the load according to the MPS and the customer portfolio: Warehouse and MPHManage the performance and the productivity of the resources: Warehouse and MPHIs responsible of logistic department costAnimate the Master Production Plan by analysing needs and achievements and by proposing necessary resources to put in place.Pilot internal and external resources in order to satisfy customer needs in term of on time deliveryLead and improve suppliers performance in term of service level, lead time and lot size.Lead and improve plant flow performance by applying the SPS principles (Waiting queue, MPH, Pull flow, warehousing efficiency, )Optimize inventories and coverage according to service level and capital employedManage the ranges ramp down/up and obsolescenceThis role might be for you ifPrevious experience in Supply Chain ManagementExperience in managing team, leadership experienceBachelor or Masters degree in Engineering or BusinessWhat we can offer you:You can look forward to growing your career in a dynamic workplace with significant personal responsibility and attractive development opportunitiesFlexible working models to ensure a balance of family and working lifeOptimal support on your career path through regular training opportunitiesA dynamic and personal atmosphere, working with a global energised teamA company culture that encourages performance and cooperationAn attractive compensation package including the comprehensive fringe benefits expected of an international companyWe seek out and reward people for putting the customer first, being disruptive to the status quo, embracing different perspectives, continuously learning, and acting like owners.
