Job Description

What Well Bring:TransUnion is a major credit reference agency, and we offer specialist services in fraud, identity and risk management, automated decisioning and demographics. We support organisations across a variety of sectors including finance, retail, telecommunications,utilities, gaming, government and insurance.What Youll Bring:In this role, you will be responsible for helping develop new features on our cloud-based products and services as part of an established team of software and test engineers supporting our Consumer business.You will be developing in an agile manner, working closely with all members of the delivery team and its stakeholders, using modern development practices to ensure quality throughout the process - making sure that we build the right thing, and build it right!You will be a hands-on developer looking to build your skills and experience in service development and cloud-based technology.Key Tasks & Accountabilities

  • Write well-structured, maintainable code.
  • Ensure testability and deployability of components.
  • Be involved in process improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal teams to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible.
  • Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
Skills & Experience
  • You have experience of programming in C#.
  • You have a curiosity for new technologies and techniques and want to learn new skills.
  • You can communicate well, both with technical and non-technical staff.
  • You want to maintain high quality and good practices.
  • You have a good understanding of version control practices.
Desirable
  • Experience of PowerShell
  • Experience of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience of working in a Scrum/Kanban agile team.
  • Experience of build & release pipelines.
  • Experience of automated testing and deployment.
