Job Description

About the Company:They are a UK-based financial services award-winning challenger that supports their SME and Real Estate lending clients through their lifecycle.They operate across a number of regional hubs across the country that serve their clients which include Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs); landlords and homeownersAs the Relationship Director - Real Estate Finance your responsibilities and duties will include:Acting as a key point of contact for new business and working directly with Customers and brokers, you’ll be responsible for originating new lending and building relationships with customers and business intermediaries to help us achieve their ambitiousgrowth aspirations.You’ll be assessing complex lending proposals, looking at financial performance and borrower backgrounds, as well as undertaking sufficient due diligence in order to make an informed assessment on lending requests. All this will be to ensure our underwritershave what they need, and that we are lending responsibly.Being a Relationship Director - Real Estate Finance will play a significant part in establishing and managing brokers as well as customer relationships.Achieve set individual targets in a variety of areas and to contribute towards the overall performance of the Bank, whilst minimising the risk of losses.About You

  • Experience within the Real Estate Finance (Commercial Mortgages and Portfolio Buy To Let), to include presentation of applications to credit committee.
  • A detailed understanding of banking credit processes
  • A detailed understanding of the legal requirements, property valuation issues, legal facility offer letters and banking processes to achieve loan drawdown in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to extract key financial information for individuals, partnerships and companies
  • High level of communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, brokers and other professional partners

  • Ability to work on own initiative as role is hybrid working arrangement.
  • Able to work in a target driven environment, achieving monthly origination and pipeline targets.
