Job Description

The CompanyA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, who is one of the UKs leading fitout & refurbishment companies.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading commercial aspects of high-profile M&E construction projects.In return, you will receive:

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, your duties will be:
  • Attend regular meetings to review overall commercial performance.
  • Provide monthly reports to include CVRs, cash, accruals etc.
  • Escalate any risks and propose action plans.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain excellent client relations.
  • Assist in preparing tenders and contracts.
The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will hold the following skills and experiences:
  • Must be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Must have experience working at Project QS or Senior Level for recognised contractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts with ability to take from estimate and covert to clients SOR.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent attention to detail to produce accurate work.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
