We are seeking a Senior Purchase Ledger Officer to join our Accounting & Finance department in their Leeds office. Senior Purchase Ledger Officer role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger within the public sector and governmentindustry.Client DetailsOur client is a large player in the Public Sector and Government industry with a strong presence in Leeds.   • Oversee the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger
  • Manage supplier relationships and handle queries
  • Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Assist with month-end financial reports
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures
  • Support the wider Accounting & Finance team as necessary
ProfileA successful Senior Purchase Ledger Officer should have:
  • A strong background in Purchase Ledger
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a drive to improve processes and create efficiencys
  • Good understanding of financial regulations and procedures
