Job Description

Senior Finance Analyst, South Leeds, £50k-£55kSewell Wallis are urgently looking to speak to qualified experienced Analysts / Finance Business Partners who are looking for their next opportunity.Our client are a family-owned global organisation based in South Leeds and are looking for a qualified accountant with a highly analytical background and strong stakeholder management skills to provide accounting, financial, analytical, and commercial supportto the Finance and Technology leadership teams.The role is ideal for a qualified accountant and will provide the opportunity to support change at a strategic level with exposure to senior leaders within the organisation.Qualified by experience may be considered but must have significant analytical accountancy experience.Our client are a large organisation with many opportunities for promotion and this role would be great for an ambitious analyst looking to further their commercial experience.Main duties of the role include;

  • Maintain and operate financial models.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc analysis to provide insight and support decision making, including supporting the Finance Business Partner in complex commercial analysis.
  • Contribute to the monthly forecasting process.
  • Contribute to the annual business planning cycle (budgets).
  • Accurate and timely recognition and recharging of costs to business unit P&Ls.
  • Contributing to monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliation.
  • Approachable and able to build strong relationships with Business Unit FBPs and Technology leaders.
To be considered for this role you will need to have;
  • A formal accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • A strong analytical background with advanced excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and be an approachable effective communicator.
