Position: Senior Estimator/Cost PlannerLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary: £50,000 to £70,000 DOEWe are a sizeable main contractor seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Cost Planner to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in cost planning and estimating for projects with values upwards of £5 million.Key Responsibilities:Produce cost plans with minimal information provided.Collaborate with 2 Senior Estimators, a trainee, and project teams in the Leeds office.Oversee and contribute to the development of cost planning strategies.Analyze project requirements and constraints to develop reliable estimates.Work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to gather necessary information.Provide support in the preparation of tender submissions.Collaborate with the team to identify value engineering opportunities.Get involved with estimating duties.Requirements:Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Cost Planner.Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.Ability to produce accurate cost plans.Proficiency in relevant software and tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of the local construction market in Leeds and surrounding areas.Package:Competitive salary up to £70,000 depending on experience.Up to 3 days per week remote working.Opportunities for career progression within the company.Dynamic and collaborative working environment.Company benefits and perks.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
