Job Description

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Leeds Ref CTJ1018Salary negotiable depending on skills and experiencePermanentThis is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced engineer within the electrical discipline to join a leading, unique, and specialised engineering consultancy within their Leeds office. Our client has a network of offices all over the UK and is lookingto expand their services by bringing in a senior engineer to assist with the development of graduates and ensure quality is maintained throughout the business.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a history of designing electrical systems within sectors such as retail, hospitality, healthcare and industrial
  • Have a minimum of 8 years experience in the industry
  • Be Proficient in the use of IT systems with experience of using Amtech Pro Design, Dialux and/or Dialux Evo, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good organisation and multi-tasking skills, displaying accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills
About the role:
  • Electrical Design of HVAC systems
  • Preparation of electrical design calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, professional organisations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other design
  • Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages
