Job Description

About the roleAre you a skilled full-stack software engineer looking to work on innovative, creative projects for leading global brands and public sector organisations Are you looking to develop your skills and learn new technologies Do you have expert knowledge andexperience in creating fully custom websites that utilise the latest web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and ReactICF Next E&A Technology are on an exciting transformation journey to grow our digital capability across the UK and Europe. We are looking for a brilliant full-stack software engineer to join our team and lead and collaborate on the end-to-end developmentof projects.About you

Must haves
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass and responsive design
  • Excellent skills and proven track record of success working with JavaScript ES6+ in an object-oriented manner
  • Excellent skills and proven track record of success working with the MERN stack, including React, Redux, Node.js, Express, MongoDB
  • Proven capability developing robust, feature-rich, custom, responsive websites for commercial clients using contemporary technologies and services
  • Proficiency in managing version control and co-developing using Git and GitHub
  • Good all-round understanding of hosting and domain and DNS management and configuration, preferably with Azure and/or AWS
  • Adept at working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and using related tools and frameworks, such as Jira, Scrum and Kanban
  • Solid understanding and proven capability in developing to modern web standards inc. W3C
Nice to haves
  • Degree or similar qualification in computer science, software development or engineering
  • Experience in 3D technologies such as Three.js and WebGL
  • Experience in game/XR development technologies such as Unity
  • Experience developing to web accessibility standards in line with WAI guidelines
  • Experience with bundlers such as webpack, and continuous integration, delivery and deployment
  • Good experience with design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working with private and/or public sector organisations, with experience of HCD processes, working with design systems and client-side governance teams e.g. Gov.uk GDS
