As such, it places business with a varietyof insurers, both regionally, but also largely into the London market.In this varied and challenging role, you will work in close conjunction with Account Executives and Directors, playing a key part in designing robust insurance programmes for clients. You will scrutinise their business and projects, identifying exposureto risks and suggesting innovative solutions to mitigate these. Needless to say, you will develop a detailed knowledge of the Construction market, including trends, latest developments and different insurance companies’ appetites for specific risks. You willnegotiate with Underwriters to obtain your clients the most comprehensive cover at competitive premiums, as well as producing a variety of detailed reports and associated documentation.Ideally, you will have extensive knowledge of the Construction sector, however we most certainly welcome applications from general commercial’ Account Handlers / Brokers who have had some exposure to dealing with Construction clients and relevant covers.You must also be a naturally curious problem-solver, who takes prides in delivering positive client outcomes. You should also have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to secure the buy in’ from stakeholders from all walksof life.This broker offers flexible working, checking into a regional office as and when required (or more often, if desired), so will therefore appeal to candidates across London, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
