Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive Account Management or Sales professional with a passion for SportsWe are recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to join our West Leeds based client, within a sociable, lively and vibrant Agency team, managing key accounts within the Sport sector. As a result of continued growth and success within their Sport division,our client is recruiting for an experienced Account Management or Sales professional to develop and implement strategies to actively grow existing Sport accounts.If you are looking to join a bold, dynamic and imaginative team and work alongside major industry names such as Premier League Football Clubs and reputable Sport brands, then this is the perfect role for you!Our client not only offer a lively and supportive working culture, they also provide a fantastic range of benefits including: an annual bonus, 31 days holiday inclusive of BH + up to 3 days additional leave a year, monthly team incentives as well as regularvisits to sporting events across the country!What you will be involved with as a Senior Account Manager:

  • Account managing a client base of key accounts, including major Football and Rugby teams and renowned Sport Brands, offering support throughout their full project cycle, being a key point of contact and keeping clients fully informed throughout the process
  • You will support and create a Sales strategy for your existing key clients, upselling and naturally developing the relationship to maximise client spend
  • Identifying opportunities to grow your accounts and look at other areas of business to develop
  • You will work to clients budgets, provide quotes, liaise with Artwork teams internally, propose a brief to clients with the aim of gaining approval and will then manage the full critical path, through to a successful outcome.
  • You will attend meetings with your clients to follow up on projects and campaigns and discuss future business (sometimes whilst attending events or visiting major clubs!)
  • Working closely with the Marketing team internally to convert inbound leads into customers
For the Senior Account Manager role, we are looking for candidates with a passion for communicating and building on key relationships with senior stakeholders, as well as having a natural affinity for sport.What we are looking for in a Senior Account Manager:
  • Demonstrated Account Manager, Business Development Manager or similar experience of 3+ years.
  • A commercially astute, proactive and inquisitive candidate, who will actively listen to and understand a client brief acting as product experts to guide and consult clients
  • A confident and natural relationship builder
  • Strong understanding of working B2B and developing creative strategies to grow existing accounts
  • A selling mentality and proactive drive to develop existing business and grow the sports division
  • A true team player, supportive and able to collaborate with team members
