Job Description

Are you looking for a new careerSearch PUBLIC SECTOR is currently recruiting for Scrubber cleaners working with a scrubber dryer machine based in Leeds LS12.In this role you will be working within a team of 2, covering 10 sites across Leeds and York area, travel will be provided.This role will be working within a Hospital, dealing with patients and visitors. You will be cleaning wards, public areas.Main duties of the jobTo support the Facilities Manager in their role to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented and maintained.Main duties include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of floor cleaning machines.The roles involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.Skills and Experience required;

  • Background in commercial cleaning in a hotel, care or hospital environment
  • Full UK Driving licence (ideal but not essential)
  • DBS on updated service (ideal but not essential as Search will assist in this)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Worked with cleaning machines, i.e. scrubber dryer this would be a benefit, but not essential as training will be given.
