Job Description

Sales and Logistics Coordinator

  • Leeds (South)
  • £28,000

Elevation Recruitment Group, Business Support division are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Leeds. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised individual to join as a Sales and Logistics Coordinator.As a Sales and Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the order process. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of orders, managing client relationships, and optimising the logistics processes to meet customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and delays.
  • Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure on-time and in-full delivery to customers.
  • Track and manage the transportation of goods from manufacturing facilities to customer locations.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
  • Prepare and manage necessary documentation, including invoices, shipping labels, loading and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and expectations.
Requirements for the role:
  • An incredibly organised character with a high attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
