Job Description

Sales Account Manager Location: West YorkshireSalary: up to £23,000 (Plus bonus on company and personal performance) Our Client is a well established and innovative organisation supplying Gift, Homewares and similar products to the High Street, Discount Retail and Supermarkets across both the UK & the USA.With very strong year on year growth and an expanding portfolio of products, they are now seeking a strategic Sales Account Manager to manage, develop and expand their diverse customer base.This is a truly exciting time to join a business in an exciting stage of its development and the opportunity to really make this newly created role your own.Responsibilities

  • You will have your own customer portfolio to develop and build on existing relationships.
  • Provide customer support for trade customers, handling orders by phone, email, trade website.
  • Work closely and be the internal contact for your allocated field Agents and for their customers.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote extra business through existing accounts.
  • Developing new business by targeting accounts, new markets, and outlets and developing relationships with VIP target accounts for an exciting range of products.
  • Achieving agreed targets.
  • Help to organise and attend trade shows.
  • Requirements
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Sales
  • Experience in Books, Homewares, Gift, Toy, Fashion or Accessorises or similar.
  • Excellent Team Player, enthusiastic, fun with a firm personality.
  • Organised, accurate with attention to detail
  • Self-starter with initiative and a can do attitude.
  • Be able to work under pressure to tight schedules
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (Free parking on site)
