RTR Lead Accountant - Hybrid working - Leeds City CentreA well-established, global, luxury fashion brand are seeking several lead accountants to join their growing RTR finance team. The FTSE 100 company are currently recruiting for 4 roles, ranging in seniority, within their central finance function based inLeeds city centre. All roles require relevant experience in compliance, statutory and management accounting.This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Leeds most reputable businesses, and to develop your finance career within one of the worlds leading FTSE 100 businesses. All roles offer flexible, hybrid working to suit the successful candidate.Responsibilities will include:* Execution and/or review and approval of RTR transactions and reports.* Preparation and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and also review those prepared by direct reports.* Timely completion of compliance tasks associated with entities accountable for.* Delivering monthly internal reporting on activity to finance and operational teams including sourcing and merchandising to aid in business decisions.* Responsible and accountable for the end-to-end solution and performance of an integrated set of EMEIA processes.* Managing the various internal and external stakeholders.* Expected to run an effective and sustainable team, which has the capability to deliver the agreed services now and in the future.* Accountable for training and managing a small team, which in turn will be responsible for a set of small entities accounts and service functional shared service requirements.* Ensure compliance with Group Policies, including operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.* Demonstrable management experience, including history of hiring, training, motivating and retaining accounting personnel.Qualifications & Experience:* Qualified accountant e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA. * At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience * SAP experience is desirable. Experience of BPC is an advantage.* Proven leadership skills in managing through a project to resolution involving multiple stakeholders.* Excellent understanding of IT systems and processes with advanced excel skills, working with large data sets.* Identify and address future challenges and opportunities.
