Job Description

Returns Preparation is part of Immigration Enforcement, a department of the Home Office responsible for preventing immigration abuse, tracking immigration offenders and increasing compliance with immigration law. The role will be workingwithin the Triage, Progression and Decision (TPD) Team on Returns Preparation Core Casework, Immigration Enforcement.Job DescriptionCase Preparation ActivityThis work requires a great deal of pace and the ability to keep the necessary systems updated and drive creative and innovative improvements to front end processes.Business Support ActivityTriaging communications from stakeholders across inboxes and duty phone lines, assessing and prioritising next steps. Ensuring the necessary databases and tracking systems are kept updated and complete. Responding to queries and requests in a professionaland timely manner, capturing data, analysing trends and driving process improvements.Key Skills:We are looking for candidates that are: Committed to continuous improvement and thrive in an environment where performance matters. Collating, assessing, and responding to information. Able to meet quality and accuracy standards, adhering to relevant guidance and policy Can work independently, and as part of a team. Flexibility and willingness to take on new and varied areas of work as required according to business needs.Flexi-time between 07h00 - 19h00. Core hours 10h00-15h00. Attendance at office minimum 2 days per weekLocation: Waterside Court 1, 471 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS4 2QBSecurity Clearance: Due to the nature of the work CTC security clearance is required.
