Job Description

Our client, a fantastic national brand who are leaders in the removals and storage industry, offer a full range of professional removals and storage services for private and commercial moves are seeking a Area Manager for their branch in the Leeds area.Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the efficient and successful management of all the groups removal branches and locations. The group contribution will be solely your responsibility, and you will oversee the groups daily sales performance.
  • To evaluate the removal sales and coordination team on a monthly basis.
  • To meet company sales conversion goals and oversee job-specific margin control.
  • Growth and ongoing administration of local accounts.
  • Manage the move coordination team by following the "daily job list."
  • Manage all employees to meet the necessary removal KPIs.
  • To visit customers during, and after their removal to assess the quality of the service.
  • Make sure that any shortcomings are thoroughly investigated and dealt with.
  • To carry out all pertinent hiring in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Assist in managing the online brand profile.
  • Complete monthly and weekly trading forecasts for the group.
  • Assessment of complaints and claims
  • Attend meetings for branch services.
  • Regularly conduct branch evaluations each month.
  • To establish and monitor a training matrix for all group management, removal sales, and administrative workers.
  • Complete any monthly returns.
  • Keep track of and uphold all applicable laws governing transportation.
  • Ensure branch health and safety is adhered to.
  • Uphold the organisations accreditations.
  • Make sure all removal payments are collected in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Skills and requirements:
  • Prior experience of working within the Moving & Relocation is preferred.
  • Leadership abilities and managerial experience.
  • Customer centred.
  • Sales management.
  • Company-focused and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Abilities to solve problems.
  • Market sensitivity.
  • Ability to inspire a team and foster a positive atmosphere.
  • The capability to teach and mentor others.
