Job Description

Job Title: Production Line OperativeLocation: Swillington, LeedsSalary: CompetitiveJob type: Full Time, PermanentROCOL is a market leader in the development and manufacture of greases, fluids & metalworking fluids. We currently require a Formulation Graduate to join our technical team in Leeds. Previous experience within the lubricant industry and/or formulation developmentwould be advantageous but not essential.With over 140 years experience ROCOLs range of innovative greases, metalworking fluids, lubricants, and oils are designed for todays challenging operating conditions. ITW Rocol, part of ITW Inc, has its head office in Leeds U.K. and operates in severalcountries worldwide, offering Lubrication solutions to nearly every facet of industry with over 100 distributors stocking and supplying the product range worldwide.We are seeking a flexible, energetic, and self-motivated Production Line Operative to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be willing to tackle a wide range of tasks and able to communicate effectively with other Operational departments.What youll be doing:

  • Operating machinery and equipment involved in the production process
  • Performing basic maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Identifying and addressing issues that may arise during the production process
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures
What were looking for:
  • Qualified to operate a counterbalance forklift is desirable
  • Experience within a production environment
  • Attention to detail with a positive attitude to work
  • General numeracy, literacy and basic computer skills
  • Be well organized and able to work on own initiative
