Job Description

Do you have strong VBA programming skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and a natural inclination for problem-solvingThen we have 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity just for you!During the 12-month period you will have the opportunity of working on one of the largest transformation projects of it’s kind in Europe! You will play a crucial role in finding opportunities for improvement to the services we deliver to our NHS clients.The main purpose of the role will be rewriting existing code to align with the Oracle Fusion migration ready for next April and working on areas identified for new development by enhancing existing processes and writing new solutions. Collaborating withcolleagues across the business, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.You will ideally be able to work from our brand new modern offices in Leeds once a week and work from home the rest of the time after an initial couple of weeks onsite for support and training.What youll be doing:

  • Respond positively to feedback by proactively review processes and procedures
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture to support development of financial services
  • Support in the development of colleagues knowledge of systems and processes
  • Conduct detailed reviews of specific processes and propose/ develop improved solutions
  • Build and maintain good relationships with the wider organisation
  • Run reports, extract and analyse the data, as required, using spreadsheets and statistical techniques
What you’ll bring:
  • Advanced macro building skills and VBA capabilities
  • A background in process improvement or change management
  • Experience in analysing and interpretating data
  • Understanding of finance and accounting processes
  • Experience in requirements gathering tasks and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes
  • Proven record to work on own initiative to deliver excellent results
It would be great if you had:
  • Previous experience in an accountancy role or accountancy qualifications
  • Strong background in successfully managing and delivering change.
