Job Description

Job Title: Portfolio Manager - Property Development FinanceHybrid working - 50% office basedAbout the Company:They are a UK-based financial services Challenger Bank that supports their customers by providing finance to business owners, homeowners and landlords, and supports savers. The Property Development Finance team funds residential, mixed use and commercialdevelopments of single unit projects and larger, multi-unit schemes. They tailor finance packages through deep sector knowledge to suit the individual circumstances of the borrower and the project.As the Portfolio Manager - Property Development Finance you will be:

  • Working closely with the Relationship Directors within the Property Development Finance team to manage the in-life management of the development finance facility. This will include writing credit applications against monitoring surveyors reports and advancementof payments.
  • Maintaining a close working relationship with clients, professionals and internally, in support of achievement of the Bank’s business objectives. Attend meetings and site visits as required to further enhance working relationships.

  • Experience within the Property Development Finance sector
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Accuracy and eye for detail
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Committed to high service levels with a "proactive" attitude
  • Administration of property development funding
  • A detailed understanding of banking credit processes
