Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer for a temporary position in the Accounting & Finance department of a reputable not-for-profit organisation based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will bring a meticulous approach to managing andprocessing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Client DetailsThis organisation is a large-scale, not-for-profit entity that is highly respected in the community and serves thousands of individuals every year.   • Accurately process and manage payroll for all employees
  • Ensure payroll compliance with tax regulations
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and management
  • Prepare payroll reports for management
  • Work closely with HR to ensure accurate employee data
  • Handle benefits and pension administration
  • Update and maintain payroll records
  • Assist with year-end processes including P60s
ProfileA successful Payroll Officer should have:
  • Experience in a Not For Profit sector would be beneficial
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations
  • Proficient with payroll software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong numeracy and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Job Offer
