Job Description

The payroll officer will play an essential role within the accounting and finance department, ensuring accurate processing and recording of the companys payroll and providing timely and accurate financial information.   • Perform daily payroll department operations
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Update and reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Handle and resolve payroll queries
ProfileA successful Payroll Officer should have:
  • A strong understanding of payroll processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
Job Offer
  • 6 Month Temporary Payroll Officer role in a not-for-profit organisation
  • Hourly rate of GBP 13.00 - GBP 15.00
