Job Description

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Leeds who are recruiting a Part-Time Payroll Administratordue to recent growth within the company. This position is Monday – Wednesday, offering around 24 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to utilise their skills and develop within a very successful and high-volume Payroll function.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis for 1800+ employees
  • Ensuring accurate and timely production of payrolls
  • Balance payroll output and prepare all figures for BACS
  • Process all new starters, leavers and contracts of employment
  • Process and submit pension upload files
  • Process and update all variations and permanent data changes
  • Balance year end and produce P60’s, P11d’s, pension reports etc
  • Send BACS files for submissions to the bank
  • Balance payroll output
You will need to demonstrate:
  • Knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP, Income tax, NI, pensions etc
  • Knowledge of FPS and EPS submissions
  • Experience of Sage 200 (desirable)
  • Competent IT knowledge, Excel and Word
  • Have own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Mitrefinch payroll (advantage)
