Operations Manager Wanted! Do you have a knack for managing facilities and leading teams Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Oversee and maintain all aspects of the clubs facilities, including cleaning, grounds, hospitality, and health & safety. Provide clear direction to staff, fostering a positive team spirit. Set and maintain high standards for behaviour and productivity. Assist the General Manager with reporting, analysis, and basic accounting tasks. Recruit and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and training as needed. Delegate work appropriately, ensure fair rota scheduling, and conduct regular appraisals. Make prompt and clear decisions, taking responsibility for actions and projects. Operate a system of maintenance reporting and ensure completion of both small and large requirements. Optimise bar stock levels and manage contracts with suppliers. Build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers, maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with the General Manager to set budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. Stay up-to-date on health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance. Person Specification Demonstrable knowledge and skill in facilities management. Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and staff. Ability to handle conflict and pressure with grace. Detail-oriented and diligent, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly.
