Job Description

Network Migration EngineerAs a Network Migration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our network migration projects, focusing on the configuration of Cisco ASA firewalls. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the successfulmigration of network infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cisco ASA Configuration: Utilize your expertise in configuring Cisco ASA firewalls to enhance and secure our clients network environments.
  2. Migration Planning and Execution: Work closely with project managers and fellow engineers to plan and execute network migration projects within specified timelines.
  3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to network configurations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  4. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.
  5. Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including network architects, system administrators, and security experts, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with project goals.
Experience:
  • This role would be ideal for a 2nd Line Network Engineer and above.
  • Proven experience in configuring Cisco ASA firewalls is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, security, and routing.
  • Familiarity with network migration best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
Remote based. Up to 40k basic. 18 month Fixed Term Contract.
