National Sales Manager - Modular Accommodation HireJob Title: National Sales Manager - Modular Accommodation HireIndustry Sector: Modular Buildings, Hire Industry, Construction, Design and Build, Main Contracting, Education, HealthcareArea to be covered: NationalBased: Ideally Yorkshire or M1/ M62 CorridorRemuneration: £60,000-£70,000 Neg. + £130,000 OTEBenefits: Car or Car Allowance + comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the National Sales Manager Modular Accommodation Hire will involve:

  • Field sales management position, responsible for selling the hire of large modular complexes
  • Responsible for 5 x Business Development Managers and 2 x Key Account Managers nationally
  • 70-80% of your time on the road supporting the field sales team/ enabling them to achieve their individual revenue targets
  • Inheriting a stable rental and successful division with a revenue responsible for circa £60m
  • Working on framework/ bids/ tender work winning solutions
  • Focussing on short, medium and long term goal strategy
  • Leading from the front, acting as a mentor, trainer and coach
  • Ability to create strategy and create belief within the field sales team
  • Visiting our clients head office 1-2 days per week
  • New role for our client, created through our clients appetite to grow the rental/ hire team to £80m over the next 5 years
The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager Modular Accommodation Hire with:
  • Field sales people management experience from within the construction hire industry
  • Minimum 5 years experience within a similar role, from a design and build, modular or main contracting background
  • Excellent communicator and strong leader
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Contractually and commercially aware
  • Reasonable knowledge of the terms of JCT D&B and NEC3 forms of contract
  • Ideally modular accommodation industry field sales experience
