Job Description

Maclean Moore is closely partnered with a global consultancy who are recruiting for a Manhattan Developer to join their end client’s Application Engineering Team. You will be responsible for preforming Manhattan facility builds & technical activities.Location: Leeds (2 days a week)/WFHIR35 Status: InsideContract Duration: 6 months with further extensions to followResponsibilities:

  • Work in Manhattan Active environment, to build and support customer business
  • Promote configuration between staging facilities using configuration director
  • Work with Manhattan to establish connectivity between Manhattan and IDDI/Integration layers
  • Connectivity to automation using Manhattan WES
  • Use different tools which are widely used by cloud technologies
  • Work in different clouds environments like GCP, Azure
  • Work with Infra to get handheld, voice and printers set up and working for test and sites
  • Build labels (shipping, receiving labels) using Jasper Tools
  • Manage data conversion injection
  • Effectively manage your own workload, correctly prioritising tasks
  • Create documentation as per standards. Maintaining a document repository & knowledge database for all logistics applications
  • Work with QA to plan and execute system testing. Resolve defects and challenge external suppliers where appropriate
The required skillset is as follows:
  • 3 years of exp in Manhattan or any WMS configuration
  • Extensive Manhattan Active, API protocol experience
  • Manhattan Associates WMOS configuration experience
  • Good understanding of logistics processes and best practice
  • Experience of working on large scale WMS project
  • Good Knowledge on cloud database technologies
  • The ability to use Cloud technology API’s
  • Python scripting knowledge
Please note that the client is aware that Manhattan is a niche skillset . So we are also accepting candidates with WMS experience (JDA, BlueYonder, RedPrairie) and the client will cross train you.
