Job Description

Due to an internal promotion and growth, Sewell Wallis are partnering with a global Professional Services business who are looking to recruit 2 experienced Management Accountants into their UK Accounts team.Our client is offering hybrid working and there will be travel to the Sheffield office (1-2 days) per week with the option of working either from Leeds, or on a remote basis on the other days.Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:-

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, working closely with the global shared service centre
  • Calculating and posting month end journals
  • Variance analysis
  • Annual budgeting and reforecasting for a number of international indirect cost areas
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing year end reporting packages for UK entities
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Partnering key stakeholders and non finance teams including IT, HR and Marketing
  • Ad hoc finance project work
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA
  • Strong technical skills
  • Experience of TM1 and SAP would be beneficial
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
