Job Description

This award-winning Leeds based, wide format print group supply both branded print for events, POS and brands, along with custom large format printed flags, banners, barrier covers and many other printed materials. They produce high quality print for manymajor retailers, sports events, construction businesses and automotive.Looking for a traditional Pre-Press Mac Operator/Artworker to join their team to be based on-site in their super modern facility in South Leeds.What you’ll do:

  • A heavily pre-press role, you’ll essentially set up client artwork from receipt, ready for print and finishing production.
  • You’ll mainly use Illustrator and InDesign – this is not a creative artwork role!
  • Image manipulation
  • PDF proofing and QC of print PDF files, Cut files and proof spec PDF’s.
  • Supporting the Studio Manager and another Mac Operator, you’ll be capable of working accurately, productive and efficiently at all times.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of operational systems and software.
What you’ll need:
  • Adobe CS and an understanding of digital file formats – PDF, tiff, eps.
  • Larger format digital and dye-sub printing.
  • High level of PC proficiency.
  • Numerate and accuracy.
  • You’ll come from a large format/print background.
