Job Description

NonStop Consulting is looking to recruit a Java Developer for this Central Government authority, available for hybrid / remote work in Leeds on an initial 12 months contract with potential extension to be reviewed.This Government client is looking for a skilled Java Developer who is able to ensure system robustness, resilience and stability while also producing comprehensive suites of automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.Main criteria:

  • Must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years without interruptions
  • Knowledge of Java 11+ or later
  • Good experience with large microservice architectures
  • Excellent understanding of TDD, BDD
  • Ability to work in a pair programming environment
