Innovation Scientist – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Leeds, YorkshireThe RoleDo you have broad experience and knowledge in the nonwovens industry Are you passionate about innovation and product developmentA leading global consultancy that focuses on the development of nonwoven products and processes is seeking an Innovation Scientist capable of working at the highest scientific level, whilst delivering commercially-viable results.The key responsibilities of an Innovation Scientist include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading the development and design of new nonwoven products, processes and services, including project management duties.
  • Independent scientific report writing to a very high level of English language competency and technical excellence.
  • Authoring technical papers, conference proceedings and presentations at the highest level and to represent the company at major industry exhibitions and conferences.
  • The CompanyFocused on the development of nonwoven products and processes, the company has grown quickly into a leading global consultancy business.Having now completed over 450 projects for 150 different companies, the company has a proven reputation for developing innovative, commercially viable products, helping its clients to improve and grow their businesses by; developing new products and intellectual property, enhancing product performance and reducing costs.The PersonThe key skills and qualities of an Innovation Scientist:
  • The role would suit a nonwoven specialist with a PhD or Degree/Masters in Textile or Material Science/Engineering.
  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in manufacturing, new product development and commercially focused R&D projects.
