Infrastructure Support EngineerI am working with a globally operating business who are seeking to add an Infrastructure Support Engineer to their leading, well-established IT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the businesses daily operations, deliveringcritical infrastructure all with several opportunities to develop skills within multiple areas and progress your career.Salary: Circa £30,000Location: Leeds, LS1Start Date: ASAP, Notice Period AcceptableThe position will require the following skills and experiences:* 5 years previous experience in an Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Support role; ideally supporting Data Centre estates.* Configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server (2016 / 2019) and Linux environments. (Ubuntu desirable).* Strong working knowledge of Virtualisation Technologies (VMware desirable).* Strong working knowledge of Backup Technology and Methodologies (Veeam desirable).* Strong working knowledge of troubleshooting, Dell EMC SANs and HPe / Dell Hardware* Good understanding of the Microsoft Technology stack including Active Directory, Azure and Office 365 estate* Good understanding of Remove Management Technologies, Anti-Virus and Messaging platforms (Sophos Central, Intune, and Mimecast desirable).* Good understanding of Basic Networking functionsDesirable skills and experiences include:* Supporting ERP or WMS applications (ideally CargoWise).* Experience of working within an ISO 27001 environment.* Experience of working within an ITIL environment.* OCR applications such as Flexicapture.* Scripting skills (PowerShell).If youre an ambitious Infrastructure Support Engineer looking for a new challenge and are keen to join a market leader in the Leeds City Centre area, then please get in touch with Rob Lock on or for more information on how to apply.
