Hosted Systems Product Specialist - WFH Our client are looking for an experienced Hosted Systems Product Specialist to join their friendly Technical Services team within an establish high growth software company in a work from home capacity.The successful Hosted Systems Product Specialist will be a key hire that will influence continued growth by defining and implementing the companys strategy for providing hosted / cloud based solutions to existing and new customers. This will include defininghow hosted solutions are delivered and supported, as well as input to product development aimed at optimising the hosted solutions Hosted Systems Product Specialist responsibilities:*Provide expertise in hosted environments to allow effective deployment of Matrix solutions*Provide input for the selection of appropriate Cloud technology*Provide input to the Development Team to improve Matrix LIMS for cloud deployment*Provide input to development team on cloud technology developments that may impact the Matrix product *Define and implement strategy for maintenance and support of hosted systemsoTo include definition of support and maintenance services i.e. proactive monitoring, updates and patches*Define and implement achievable service levels for maintenance and support of hosted solutions*Monitor achievement of defined service levels*Update and maintain deployment guides for hosted systems based on best practice, including recommended system sizing and security settings*Assist the sales team in responding to RFPs, ITTs etc. for hosted systems*Provide advice and consultancy services to customers on hosted deployment of Matrix solutions*Train first line support staff in supporting hosted systemsOther related tasks on an as needed basisThe Ideal Hosted Systems Product Specialist:*Deploy cloud infrastructure for customers of company hosting services*Work with Technical Services to deploy Matrix applications to the cloud*Monitor performance of hosted systems to identify potential issues and, if possible, resolve them before they become a problem.*Provide second line support for hosting problems reported by customers of company hosting services*Work with customers to agree schedules for updating hosting infrastructure (updates and patches)*Work with customers, Technical Services and Support to upgrade customers Matrix systems.*Support company internal hosted Matrix systemsFull driving license (some travel may be required)Whats in it for meBenefits:£50,000 to £70,000 negotiable depending on experience plus exceptional benefits Training:Clear promotional pathwayFull training package will be available
