Job Description

Head of Research, Data and InsightsUp to £70,000 per annum depending on experienceRemote roleWe are recruiting for a hands-on leader with a strong background in research and data. Being a people manager with the ability to motivate a remote team is massively important. You’ll also be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, as wellas senior management for decision making so strong communication skills are essential.Within this role you’ll have overall responsibility for the ongoing development of research, data, insight and evaluation strategies. Research, data and insight is used to support all aspects of work within the business, including strategic development; newbusiness ideas.An outline of the role -

  • Lead the development and review of the research, data and insight strategies and their implementation.
  • Lead change across the organisation to transform behaviours and skills enabling the business to be more research, data and insight driven.
  • Communicate insight with impact to all levels of the organisation
  • Take overall responsibility for managing a significant budget for research, data and insight
  • Rewarding, supporting and challenging staff to ensure individual, team and organisational objectives are delivered.
What we’re looking for -
  • Knowledge of research techniques and best practice.
  • Knowledge of data science, insight and evaluation practice
  • Experience at a leadership level in developing and/or using analytical capabilities within organisations
  • Demonstrable experience in specifying, tendering, commissioning and managing research
  • Experience of leading data services that use Microsoft technologies – Azure SQL Server, PowerBI and Azure Data Factory.
Salary -£62,116 - £70,872 per annumWe’re open to candidates from a variety of sectors who have the core skill set required for the role. This role is remote however the successful candidate will need to be able to attend team meetings when required.
