Job Description

This role involves taking charge of merchandising strategies across all retail channels for a leading apparel business. The candidate will manage, plan, and execute merchandising efforts to meet business objectives.Client DetailsA fantastic opportunity for a Head of Merchandising to join a clothing retailer in Leeds. The business sells multi product clothing through a number of channels including stores & ecommerce. And they have slowly build up their store estate. With more newstore in the pipeline to open this year.Description

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies in line with company objectives.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Oversee the planning and management of product ranges.
  • Analyse sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs.
  • Manage supplier negotiations and build strong relationships.
  • Lead and motivate a team of merchandisers to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
ProfileA successful Head of Merchandising should have:
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and business acumen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
