Marks Sattin are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading global marketing business to recruit a Group Tax Manager based in Leeds.This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a fantastic business during a period of sustained growth. As Group Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a key leader in the finance team, ensuring that tax compliance responsibilities are met,whilst driving tax planning during further expansion.Working closely with the finance team and with external advisers, the Group Tax Manager will oversee a wide range of tax matters including the preparation and review of tax returns across all juristictions; the preparation of tax provisioning; transfer pricingand financial statement disclosures for tax; reporting for VAT and other indirect taxes; and other ad hoc tax projects. In addition to this, there will be an expectation to improve processes and minimise tax risks for the group.The role will suit an ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified tax professional that is already working in industry, or someone trained in a big 4 or top 10 accountancy firm that is looking for their first move in house. Key to success in the role is a strong understandingof UK corporate tax, and a desire to develop skills in international tax and other specialist areas. There will be extensive involvement from third party advisers to support professional development.In addition to an excellent starting salary, the successful candidate will be eligible for a generous bonus scheme of up to 20%, and an employer pension contribution of 10%.
