Job Description

You should be technically minded, motivated, agile, with good time management skills also, ownership of work is extremely important.We can offer great career progression opportunities, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and training and development opportunities.During your initial training period you will need to be in the brand-new Leeds office 3 days a week for 4 weeks, after completion of your training, you will follow a hybrid approach, having the flexibility to come in to the office once a week. However you maynot be required in the office this often.What youll be doing:

  • Maintaining databases and data input
  • Managing shared mailboxes
  • Running financial and accountancy reports
  • Taking minutes
  • Receives payments batch approval notifications
  • Reviews documentation for general completeness
  • Checks the payment account allocation and reviews bank accounts
  • Online approval of payments within specified time scales
  • Supporting the GL and VAT teams with general process
  • Other ad hoc duties commensurate with the role
What you’ll bring:
  • Data entry and typing skills
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office e.g., Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word etc
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and multitasking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • The ability to work in a team and independently
  • Flexibility and openness to change
It would be great if you had:
  • Understanding of finance and accountancy terminology
  • Experience with working to tight deadlines
  • Experience with Oracle
