Fibre Engineer/Splicer - LeedsOverview:An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global telecommunications company for a Fibre Engineer/Splicer specialising specifically in fibre splicing and fibre testing activities. Our client is a highly regarded company providing the fastest widely available broadband speeds and ultrafast fibre optic network.Role & Responsibilities:• To be part of a national team helping drive the delivery of fibre based products• Working to an agreed specification, completing fibre-splicing activities both in the current and new external network build, and within customer Technical sites.• All types of fibre testing activity will be required • Ability to diagnose fibre related issues pinpointing areas of improvement against a set specification• Ability to read and work to supplied fibre plans. • Ensure all work on external plant is carried out with full regard to New Road and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA)• Maintain a quality customer service and ensure a positive customer relations is met and exceeded• Provide quality control of all contractor work within the networkEssential Skills and Experience:• 5+ years Fibre Engineer Experience• 2+ years Splicer Experience• Experience of the Telecommunications industry• Knowledge of Health & Safety and NRSWA requirements• Experience of safe working at heights and working with hand/power toolsPackage:• c£50k • Excellent Benefits• Bonus• Training ProgrammeFibre Engineer/Splicer - Leeds
