Facilities Assistant £24,000Leeds City Centre My client a leading workplace pension company in Leeds City Centre are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and professional candidate to undertake the role of Facilities Assistant. Facilities Assistant duties: *To log issues relating to the site where appropriate and oversee any works to a satisfactory conclusion and report back where necessary. *To monitor the maintenance contracts dealing with internal services such as heating, sink areas, lavatories, lighting, cabling, etc, reporting back to the Business Support Advisor on progress. *To be responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, distributing appropriately and managing any in-house mailings as and when required. *To ensure all business areas within the business remain fully stocked and maintained with stationery/ refreshments etc as appropriate and to make the appropriate order for any replacement stock as and when necessary. *To log printer fault service calls as necessary and monitor progress of such calls to resolution, in addition to supporting the Business Support Advisor in administering the printer, mobile phone and plant contracts. *To manage off-site storage facility and contract*To administer the car parking facilities onsite. *To look after the allocation of invoices and auditing of monthly transaction listings. *To administer and conduct the Business Support Inductions with new starters.*To be a first aider onsite and Fire Warden *To provide cover and support for the Business Support Advisor in relation to Facilities Management issues during periods of absence.*To take co-ordinate activities supporting the Environmental policy and associated recycling, ensuring activities are monitored, tracked and recorded.*To assist the Business Support Advisor with office space utilisation and office moves and supervise works to the office environment such as decorations, partition walls, etc as agreed.*To carry out building inspections & co-ordinate contractors undertaking remedial works*To configure meeting rooms as needed, and ensure that lunches are ordered as required /prepared for service to the business.*To comply with the Data Protection Policy when dealing with personal data in the course of employment including personal data relating to any employee, customer, client, supplier or agent of the Company.Essential experience *Basic understanding of PCs*Experience of dealing with on site 3rd part contractors *Experience of working within a Facilities department.*Questioning attitude.*Experience of working in an office environment.CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
