Job Description

Staff365 are recruiting on a permanent basis for a Electrical Assembler for our client located in Leeds West Yorkshire.We are keem to speak with candidates who have workig background in production and assembly and who have the ability to read technical drawings.Our clinet operates in a very niche market and are seeking experienced individually to join their existing team as they are experiencing a period of significant growth.Main Purpose of the roleTo work as part of the assembly process for equipment for sale, install electrical components and electrical wiring in production equipment.Key Duties and responsibilities

  • Examine and use electrical design drawings or specifications to find out job, material, and equipment requirements.
  • Carry out hard wiring of machines (i.e., extrusion plant).
  • Secure cables & hardware parts from suppliers and prepare cabling & make up wiring harnesses.
  • Make electrical connections to drive motors, godet rollers, heaters, barrels & die heads, temperature controls, PC. etc.
  • Number wiring for installations.
  • Check accuracy and quality of electrical assemblies.
  • Carry out all duties with guidance but without constant supervision.
  • Keep all work areas in a clean, tidy, and safe manner.
Hours of workMonday - Friday 07:30 -16:30Please note as this is a permanent vacancy with our client from day 1 you must submit an up to date Cv to be considered.
