With a headcount of circa 70 high performing employees in the London market, their inspiring culture and excellent career opportunities, will see them expanding even further throughout2024.The business is looking to replicate their southern success in the north, so you can benefit from an established product, capacity providers, wordings, rating guides, and administration all taken care of on their in-house systems, all you need to do, issimply start writing business!You will have established access to brokers across the north, to build a construction book, with a focus on manual workers (SME). This firm prides itself on it’s technical expertise and in-depth underwriting knowledge, it’s traditional in the sense thatit encourages regular interaction with clients to build effective relationships, whilst also taking advantage of technology and providing a bespoke online tool for broker access.You will look to generate a book of circa £1.5M- £2M in premium year 1, increasing to £5M by year 3 with 10% growth year on year thereafter.To be successful, you will be experienced within the UK Property & Casualty Underwriting markets. We are able to consider a full team move OR we can build a small team, comprising a Development Underwriter and an Assistant Underwriter. You can reside anywhereacross the North, from Newcastle to Liverpool. Depending on location of team members, this will be a home-working role or a shared office space, with travel to the London office as required.In return, you can write your own salary and package in line with your proven track record of delivering business.
